Job Type: Associate Pastor
Other Details

All Saints Attleboro is looking for an energetic priest who has a passion for church planting / church revitalization.

We are a small Anglican church with a big vision, “We walk with Jesus, for the sake of others.” This vision is worked out through our mission, “In our chosen families we live on mission by practicing the ways of Jesus together.”

What does that mean?

In our chosen families:

We are all born into families, but a church is a chosen family, and living in community is an important spiritual practice to develop. The heartbeat of our church family are our community groups. These are weekly discipleship groups that focus on the study of God’s word, prayer, and intentional accountability around practicing the ways of Jesus.

We live on mission:

Living on mission is a choice to put Jesus first in all things. We understand that each person is created with unique gifts and talents and personality, and we must learn to let the Holy Spirit redeem and transform our lives into Christlikeness. We also believe that where we live and what we do are strategic frontline places for us to show those around us what holiness looks like.

By practicing the ways of Jesus:

For us practicing the way of Jesus is the intentional use of spiritual disciplines that forms our discipleship in three key areas, spending time with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and learning how to do what Jesus did.

Not only are we committed to each other, but we are also committed to a shared rule of life and shared ministry. To become a member of All Saints we invite each person to develop their own rule of life to include, community groups, weekly sabbath, and tithing as the foundation. There are 245 homes in safe walking distance from All Saints. As a church, this is our corporate mission field.

Specific tasks

  • Help plan, preach, and celebrate our weekly worship service.
  • Lead a community group.
  • Engage with our corporate mission field by building relationships and strategic programs.

Preferred skills

  • Engaging preacher.
  • Able to lead the musical aspect of worship (not a requirement but will be seen as a definite bonus).
  • Computer skills, not the hacking kind.
  • A heart for missions and evangelism.
  • A desire to develop as a leader.

How To Apply

What kind of person should apply?

We are looking for someone who can help us make our preferred vision a reality. This position will fit an established bi-vocational priest with the right skills or a young clergy person looking to hone their ministry skills.
