Our next Associate Pastor will have primary responsibility to the Senior Pastor for the Christian
Education, Mission and Outreach ministries of Eastminster including:

  • Developing and promoting opportunities for discipleship and spiritual growth for
    Covenant Partners through classes, bible studies and other activities.
  • Reviving participation in our Adult Christian Education program through curriculum
    development, teacher training, and recruitment and promotion of classes and activities.
  • Collaborating with EPC’s Director of Youth Ministry to equip the next generation of
    believers by teaching Biblical principles and the provision of spiritual and character
    forming activities.
  • Supporting the Director of Children and Family Ministries to provide the children of EPC
    with an increasing measure of biblical literacy along their faith journey including Sunday
    School teacher training, family engagement, Vacation Bible School, and implementation
    of creative curriculum.
  • Connecting, educating, and equipping Covenant Partners for Mission and Outreach
    activities including leading national and international mission trips.
  • Extending EPC’s reach locally, nationally, and internationally by collaborating with our
    Outreach team to promote, lead and develop existing programs and evaluate new
    mission activities.
  • Engaging our community by developing and promoting a creative evangelism ministry
    that equips Covenant Partners to reach out to their friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
  • Passionately preach the Word of God from the pulpit 10-12 times a year or as requested
    by the Senior Pastor or the Session.

Qualifications

  • A Master of Divinity is required.
  • Ideally, considerable experience leading Christian Education, Missions and Evangelism programs and teams.
