Bridgeport Community Church (Bridgeport, NE) Bi-Vocational Pastor

The Big Picture

Bridgeport Community Church (bridgeportcommunitychurch.com) is seeking a bi-vocational pastor to revitalize the church.

The Candidate

We are open to many possibilities, including a full-time pastor, a bi-vocational pastor, or a missionary pastor. (The new pastor will most likely need to have an additional source of outside income during the early years of his service in this church revitalization ministry.) Our church has a lot of potential. The property has been cared for and is debt free, even though the congregation has become small. At present, the pulpit is being filled by streaming services supplemented by occasional pulpit supply, but the long-term desire of the congregation is to call a pastor who can help us rejuvenate our church.

At present, the church averages about 15 people at worship services. Ten years ago, it averaged around 75. Most of the people present in the church remember those days and would like to attempt to get back to becoming a healthy, vibrant church.

If you have a gift for evangelism, vision, leadership, and teambuilding, with the goal of making the gospel known, building disciples, and helping to revitalize a church with great potential, please prayerfully consider becoming part of Bridgeport Community Church.

The Qualifications

Meet the qualifications for overseer as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4.
