Somerville Community Baptist Church (SCBC) is a vibrant, diverse and rapidly growing congregation from many countries (17 nations) and backgrounds who come together to worship God and endeavor to make use of our gifts and talents for the glory of the
Lord.

SCBC of Somerville, MA is seeking a Director of Christian Education to serve children ministries.
Responsibilities:

1. Build, equip and lead the teams necessary to carry out Children Ministries.
2. Provide administrative oversight in planning, programming, and direct communications and promotions for all related Children Ministries.
3. Lead and develop a relational ministry with the students, their families.

Hours:

10 hours a week –Sunday (4 hours) from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 6 hours during
the week for Ministry Supervision and Preparation Time.

Financial:
To be determined by The Executive Board of SCBC and depending upon the
credentials and experience of the candidate.
