Reports to: Executive Director

Hours: 10 hours per week

Compensation: Stipend

Location: Hybrid

Summary:

The Executive Coordinator is a key driver and strategic leader of the organization and reports directly to the Executive Director. The Executive Coordinator will primarily be overseeing key events (annual fundraiser and Day of Hope) as well as fundraising and marketing efforts. The Executive Coordinator will also assist in collaboration with the Lead Coordinators with the Day of Hope and other Volunteer Coordinators. This person is responsible for managing communication and administrative tasks, planning outreach programs, and executing events. The Executive Coordinator will also help oversee the systems and processes for smooth functioning in the organization.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with the Executive Director to help schedule meetings and follow through as a key driver of relational communication.
  • Oversee operations of Hope for Worcester providing executive coordination for all program strategy, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Ensure strong commitment to working with a budget.
  • Plan the July 29th Day of Hope and November 17th International Food Fest Fundraiser.
    • This includes; working to establish partner relationships, coordinating event details and logistics with various Hope for Worcester leaders, and facilitating a smooth day of event operation.
  • Help execute fundraising goals, in partnership with the Executive Director, to secure financial support from donors, corporations, individuals, and potential government funding sources.
  • Build and oversee with guidance of volunteer coordinator an effective volunteer base dedicated to fulfilling the organization’s mission through highly successful program implementation, community engagement, and fundraising targets.
  • Serve as a leader of Hope for Worcester and actively participate in external events to increase visibility, credibility, and brand recognition in our community, and developing strategic partnerships in order to increase community awareness and expand the program.
  • Work with volunteers on fundraising events and outreach programs, and oversee all external communication materials including, website, marketing materials, newsletters and social media content.
  • Other duties as assigned by Executive Director.

Qualifications: 

  • Passionate about Hope for Worcester’s mission.
  • Holds to high moral and ethical standards.
  • Self-Starter and entrepreneurial who can engage people towards results with Christian love and respect.
  • Strong project manager with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to envision and convey the organization’s strategic mission to the volunteers and future staff, partner organizations, donors and board.
  • Fundraising experience or experience with successfully generating new revenue streams and improving financial results.
  • Solid organizational abilities, including program management and task oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google suite, and more.
  • Undergraduate degree, or with anticipated completion date.
  • 1+ years of professional project, personnel, and related experience.
