Mid-Hudson Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) is a nonprofit Christian organization dedicated to mobilizing local churches to help people in need (www.midhudsonloveinc.org). Love INC is seeking an experienced professional to give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the vision and mission of the organization. This is currently a 20-hour per week position with the expectation that it will grow into a fulltime position. The starting salary is in the range $23,000-$26,000.

Duties include casting the vision for Love INC in the community and representing the organization’s mission and core values; cultivating and nurturing relationships; overseeing program plans and initiatives; overseeing office administration and operations; managing staff and volunteers; participating in budget planning and fundraising; and supporting the Board of Directors.

Requires
• a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in management, social work, organizational leadership, ministry, community development, or related field.
• a minimum of three to five years leadership experience.
• excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
• a strong team player and ability to work independently and take initiative.
• experience supervising paid staff and volunteers.
• ability to teach and influence others.
