Evangelical Friends Church of Newport (EFC-Newport) is a diverse congregation of believers located on the Middletown/Newport line in Rhode Island, affiliated with Evangelical Friends Church–Eastern Region. We have a membership of around 60 and an average Sunday attendance of 100. Our mission is “Seeing lives changed by following Jesus, loving people, and reaching our world.” We are seeking a senior pastor who:

• Is a strong, knowledgeable preacher who has completed seminary or has equivalent experience, who preaches and teaches the truth of Scripture, and who understands that Christ transcends politics.
• Values personal connections, is outgoing, is skilled at connecting people and developing leaders in the congregation (including children and teens), and values care for the vulnerable, needy, and hurting in the community.
• Has a strong prayer life.
• Values evangelization of our community.
