• We are searching for a man who meets all the qualifications of elder, (1 Tim. 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-4, along with other scriptures).
• The man we are seeking must be able to teach and exposit the word (2 Tim. 4:2).
• He should work hard at preaching and teaching, while holding fast to the trustworthy word as taught (1Tim. 5:17, Titus 1:9).
• Our new pastor must be hospitable, evangelistic, and maintain a good reputation in the community.
• The shepherd we are looking for must make a culture of discipling a high priority and model it as well.
• We are seeking an overseer who will joyfully shepherd, lead, and love these sheep as though they are his own.
• We long for a pastor who will equip the body for the work of ministry and build us up to attain to the unity of the faith (Ephesians 4:12-13).
• The shepherd we are searching for understands the burden that God has placed on him as a pastor/elder and does not take it lightly but is also willing to share that burden with his brother elders.
