Ministry Residency in Youth Ministry
Other Details
What is the CRC Ministry Residency? The Residency Program is a full immersion, church-based ministry residency at Christ Redeemer Church. The resident will receive hands-on exposure and involvement in various ministerial roles with specific responsibilities in and through the church. The right candidate is 1) teachable—eager to learn and grow in a team ministry context, 2) a hardworking self-starter, 3) a lover of the local church, and 4) has proven relational ministry success. The purpose of the program is to develop gospel-driven leaders who are adept at leading God’s people in the mission of Christ’s church in a post-Christian context. Upon completion of the residency, you may be offered the option to continue working in one of our expanding ministry opportunities.
Summary: Ministry Residents serve in the shepherding, care and leadership of CRC and participate in preaching and teaching. Specific roles are based upon the gifting of the applicant.
Focus Areas in 2023-2024:
Residency in Youth Ministry
While all CRC’s residents participate in various aspects of ministry, this role will be focused on overseeing our thriving middle and high school youth groups. The Youth Ministry resident will also teach Sunday school classes, coordinate an energetic group of volunteer youth leaders, and spearhead youth conferences and events.
Residency in Church Planting
Minister alongside a Campus Pastor at one of CRC’s church plants (Quechee, Vermont and New London, New Hampshire) in addition to preaching and serving among other congregations CRC supports. This residency will provide mentored immersion in the world of New England church planting. Ability to lead music is a bonus.
