We are seeking pastoral candidates for the position of senior pastor. The requirements include that the pastor must be or become a resident of the Good Samaritan Village, a 55+ community. The foundation that owns and operates the Village is from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The church, itself is an independent, interdenominational, Evangelical church on the campus of the Village. This affords the unique opportunity for an amazing ministry among senior residents.
The Environment:
There are private homes, apartments, a care center, memory loss center and assisted living. Approximately 1200 residents occupy this increasing multicultural community including 30% Hispanic and 5% people of color. Sunday services include English and an afternoon service in Spanish.
