Independence Hill Baptist Church (IHBC) is located in Huntersville, a rapidly growing town, north of Charlotte, on a beautiful, debt free campus. We are searching for a Senior Pastor to shepherd our church body and lead our great teams to spread the Gospel message to thousands of new residents in recently built apartments and homes surrounding our campus. IHBC is a multi-generational church that has been supporting local and global missions for over 150 years.  Our previous pastor led our congregation for 20 years. The next Pastor must have the necessary skills to help our church continue to navigate through the challenges of supporting a new community and leading an existing body of believers. 

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing loving pastoral care.
• Seminary graduate (MDiv or MTh or equivalent) from an accredited seminary. 
• Talent for delivering impactful sermons and engaging messages.
• Effective teaching skills for leading members to spiritual maturity. 
• A commitment to excellence and integrity.
• Business management skills to oversee the business aspects of the church.
