The Big Picture

Age: Prefer a man between the age of 30-55
Education: Preferred Bible degree/Seminary
Marital status: Preferred married with children
Ministry Focus: Commitment to growth within our church body as well as developing personal relationships within. Experience in secular work to connect with our congregational and community demographic. Ministering to every aspect of a family i.e.; elderly, couples/parents, teens and children. Commitment to Biblical teaching. Lending by example and encouragement. Working with deacons and others in ministry; utilizing the spiritual gifts God has given to his followers.
Leadership style: Willing to work with associate Pastor and other elder qualified men in order to best minister to the community. Able to ask for and delegate when help is needed.
Unique skill sets: Expositional preaching with ability and recognition of when topical is required. Some foundation in secular work to connect with those in and around the church. Ability to do both rural and city outreach. Ability to counsel those in need regardless of their situation.
Doctrine and Affiliation: All candidates must completely agree with and hold the same beliefs as our covenant and constitution, as well as that of the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches (GARBC) and our local Delmarva fellowship
