The Big Picture

Springvale Baptist Church (springvalechurchmn.org) is a faithful congregation seeking a full-time Pastor who will preach the Word of God, provide vision, shepherd the congregation, and equip the church for works of service.

Position Overview:

• Responsible for the oversight, development and administration of Springvale Baptist Church (Preaching, Teaching, Visitation, Leadership).
• Oversee and develop men’s and women’s events and ministries.
• Participate in the creation of youth and children’s ministries.

Spiritual Proficiencies:

• Profess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord (Born Again).
• Demonstrate a servant attitude and heart (Shepherd).
• Consistent, long-term track record of Christ-like behavior and a God-honoring reputation.
• Must be committed to and in unity with the mission, vision, and values of Springvale Baptist Church (Agree with our church Constitution). 
• Believes in the verbal, grammatical inspired Word of God (Biblically Based).
• Believes in the Trinity.
• Pre-tribulation, Premillennial Eschatology.
• Pro-life and Pro Marriage (one man/one women).

Provide Pastoral Care:

• Responsible for the oversight, development, and administration of Springvale Baptist Church.
• Help Springvale Baptist Church make disciples that make disciples. 
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Dependable, detailed and organized.
• Must be able to preach and teach.
• A natural passion for God and Small Group Ministry.
• Loyalty and dedication to Springvale Baptist’s Church mission, values & leadership.
• Parsonage provided (4 bedroom, 2 bath) plus $48,000 – $50,000 salary.

Educaton? Experience

• Bible Degree with pastoral studies or Master of Divinity.
• 3-5 years proven experience.
