Encounter Church is seeking a passionate Student Ministry Intern to work closely with our Lead Pastor in discipling and engaging students in grades 6-12. This paid part-time internship provides hands-on ministry experience in a small church setting while supporting our growing youth community.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with Lead Pastor to develop and implement student ministry vision
• Assist in planning and leading weekly student ministry gatherings
• Build meaningful relationships with middle and high school students
• Coordinate with volunteer team to facilitate small groups and activities
• Help organize special events and outreach activities
• Support volunteer recruitment and training initiatives

Position Details

• Start Date: Fall 2025
• Hours: 10 hours per week
• Compensation: $1,000-$1,500 monthly (based on experience)
• Duration: Academic year commitment preferred

Qualifications

• Heart for student ministry and youth development
• Strong Christian faith and commitment to biblical values
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to connect with students across middle and high school age ranges
• Previous ministry or youth work experience preferred but not required
• Must pass background check
