Lead a seasoned team of adult volunteers in shaping the next generation of church leadership. Marsh Corner Community Church is dedicated to “Connecting All Generations to Jesus” valuing children and student ministries as mission critical to the expansion of the gospel.
The director of this mission will connect junior high school and high school students to all aspects of knowing, loving, and serving Jesus while also connecting this generation to every other part of the local and universal church. Specific responsibilities would include Wednesday evening gatherings for fellowship and discipleship using a defined curriculum, creating imaginative and valuable events to encourage fellowship, participating in Sunday morning services, and training adults to serve and equip students.
Along the way, the director will interact with and draw from the experience of the senior pastor allowing such time during the week to use that experience as a resource. The position can be structured as an internship or mentoring position.
Applicants must have a clear and credible testimony that defines their relationship with Christ and agree with the doctrinal statement of the Marsh Corner Community Church. As a position in the MCCC pastoral ministry track, the qualifications of 1 Tim. 3 and Titus 1 apply.
