Worship Leader – Centerpoint Community Church, Salem, NH

Centerpoint Community Church is an inter-generational local church family full of the faith, hope, and love of Jesus. We are a contemporary, Spirit-filled, evangelical congregation bringing the gospel to New England. We have a heart for community, outreach, and creative expression. We desire to make Jesus the center of our worship, families, friendships, work, and community in Greater Salem.  Our mission is:  Loving people one step closer to Jesus.

We are looking for a gifted Worship Leader to join our team. The worship leader is responsible for leading our congregation in  Sunday worship, including selecting music, managing a worship team, and leading rehearsals. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates musical/vocal ability, organization, and  a Biblical Christian faith and lifestyle. The ideal candidate will be able to lead with enthusiasm and energy, inspiring the congregation to grow in their faith, heart of worship, and desire to reach the lost.

Responsibilities:

• Lead worship music & singing on Sunday mornings.
• Schedule, manage, and lead a praise band/worship team.
• Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the congregation.
• Work with the Pastor to select worship songs that engage, minister, and outreach in our cultural setting.
• Work with a Creative Arts Team to develop and implement creative worship elements that help express the gospel.
• Work with teams to organize music for special events such as concerts, retreats, and other special services.
• Recruit, train, and develop new members for the worship team.
• Collaborate with other church staff to ensure a cohesive ministry plan.

Contract:      Approximately 5-10 hours per week.

Schedule:     Sunday morning rehearsal and worship service 8-11am.  Planning and communication throughout the week.  We are flexible with scheduled times off.
