Other Details

Do you think middle and high school students are awesome? (Please continue!)

Are you energized helping students discover faith and learn how to follow Jesus? (Great!  Keep going!)

Do you desire to work for and worship in a church community that takes Jesus and the Bible very seriously but doesn’t take itself too seriously? (We think you should check out the job description below.)

Imagine taking over a healthy, supported, and vibrant youth ministry (in addition to Director, there are 3 staff members, 35 committed adult/student leaders, and 170 teens joined us on fall retreat). The only thing missing is your leadership. Come join a youth staff team and a faithful, committed group of volunteer leaders as we guide kids in their faith. We are hunting for a Youth Director that will take the wheel and lead us into the future at a church you won’t want to leave!

If the idea of doing that excites you, we’d love to hear from you.

Before we get to the real job description, here’s a little more about us:

Lake Forest Church-Huntersville is a part of a family of churches based in the North Charlotte/Lake Norman, NC-area, specifically Huntersville (English and Spanish-language locations), Denver and University City (Charlotte).

Started in 1998, LFC is a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC).  The laser beam vision of LFC is reaching people who have ‘given up on church but not on God’ through a clear and engaging focus on Jesus, spiritual growth in small groups, and intentional deployment outward in mission.

Lake Forest lives by the mission and passions that God has given us (review at: https://huntersville.lakeforest.org/our-church/mission-passions). We expect every staff member to be a full DNA match, meaning that she/he resonates deeply with our mission and passions.
