Pastoral Resident
Pastoral Internship / Residency (2–3 Years)
Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Based on Candidate
We are seeking a motivated, teachable, and ministry-minded individual to join our church as a Pastoral Intern/Resident. This 2–3 year opportunity is designed to develop future ministry leaders through hands-on experience, mentoring, and meaningful responsibility across the life of the church.
This role combines practical church leadership, administrative support, and ministry development, with flexibility to shape the position around the candidate’s strengths and calling.
Key Responsibilities
- Church Operations & Administration
- Assist with office responsibilities (phones, communication, scheduling)
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and facility needs
- Support executive pastor functions and organizational leadership
- Help manage systems, calendars, and ministry coordination
- Assist with basic financial processes and record-keeping
- Ministry Development & Leadership
- Help organize and lead small groups and discipleship environments
- Participate in teaching and preaching opportunities (as appropriate)
- Support family and youth ministry initiatives
- Provide pastoral care support alongside church leadership
- Lead or assist with special ministry projects
- Communication & Technology
- Assist with social media, website updates, and church communications
- Utilize and improve digital tools and systems
- Bring creativity to outreach, marketing, and engagement strategies
Who We’re Looking For
- A growing follower of Jesus with a clear sense of calling to ministry
- Teachable, humble, and eager to learn
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable with technology (or willing to learn quickly)
- Able to manage responsibilities and follow through with excellence
- A team player who can also take initiative

Compensation
- Starting at $18,000 annually, with potential for additional support based on candidate fit and availability
