Position: Assistant Pastor of Mission and Outreach

FLSA Status: Exempt

Band: 8P

Reports to: Executive Director

Work Hours: Full-time (minimum 40 hours per week), including Sundays

Salary: $100,000-$120,000 / year

Position Summary

Redeemer Lincoln Square (LSQ) is a congregation of 850 active congregants, the majority of whom are professional New Yorkers navigating one of the most post-Christian cultural environments in America. LSQ is in a significant moment of growth and expansion. An important cornerstone of our current 5-year strategic plan includes building out community engagement and evangelism.

In light of this, LSQ is seeking an Assistant Pastor to develop, execute, and lead the church’s strategic vision for mission. The ideal candidate is someone who is equal parts theological architect and practitioner. The Assistant Pastor will work in collaboration with the Senior Pastor and ministry leaders in a team-based environment to translate vision into aligned ministry initiatives. This candidate must be deeply grounded in the gospel, culturally fluent in post-Christian urban contexts, and compelled by the conviction that the church exists for others.
