The Big Picture

Broken Bow EFree Church (https://www.bowefc.org) is seeking a Senior Pastor to lead the church for the glory of God.

Description: The Senior Pastor will provide overall leadership to Bow EFree Church

Qualifications:

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
• Consistent spiritual and moral character and lifestyle, fulfilling the biblical leadership qualifications of an elder described in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
• Agreement with the doctrinal statement of Bow EFree.
• Competent in organization, administration, and interpersonal relationships.
• Potential and desire to remain in a long-term ministry at Bow EFree.
• Competent in Bible teaching and preaching.
• Successful ministry experience.
• BS or MDIV in Biblical or Theological studies.
• Pursue ordination in the Free Church | EFCA.ORG.
• 5 years of experience as Senior Pastor.

Responsibilities: Have primary responsibility for the teaching and sustaining of biblical doctrines of this church and equipping God’s people for ministry

Pastoral Duties

• Preach and teach the Word of God regularly.
• Have overall responsibility for the public worship services 3) Administer the ordinances.
• Provide general pastoral care and nurture.

Leadership Duties

• Provide overall vision and leadership to Bow EFree.
• Work with the Leadership Team to organize and develop the ministry of Bow EFree.
• Provide leadership for the Ministry Community.
• Provide overall leadership for the Elders, Deacons and Ministry Teams.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the vision, mission and philosophy of the church.
• Develop leaders.

Management duties

• Supervise pastoral staff.
• Supervise church administrator.

Kingdom duties

• Represent the church to the community.
• Provide ministry to the broader body of Christ.

Accountability:

• The Senior Pastor is accountable to the Elder Board.
• Other issues relating to this position are described in the Constitution and By-Laws.
