The Executive Director of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches (NACCC) is a leadership role responsible for guiding the Association and its affiliated Congregational Foundation toward achieving its mission and strategic goals.
The Executive Director will craft and execute a strategy in collaboration with stakeholders, elected leaders, and member churches while providing essential support and resources to deliver impactful assistance to churches and clergy.
This role includes overseeing the work of NACCC staff, boards, councils, and committees, fostering transparency and openness within governance. Additionally, the Executive Director will manage the hiring, development, and supervision of NACCC staff, ensuring a supportive work environment and adherence to organizational policies.
Financial oversight is an important aspect of this role, involving participation in budgeting, financial management, and fundraising efforts to ensure the fiscal health of the Association and Foundation.
As the primary representative of the NACCC, the Executive Director will engage with inquiring churches, assist search committees, and serve as a spokesperson for the Association, actively supporting fundraising initiatives and cultivating major gifts.
This role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational management, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively advance the mission of the NACCC and strengthen its impact within the Congregational Christian community.
