We are seeking a passionate and experienced Development Director to help drive our fundraising efforts, ensuring we have the resources to fulfill our calling.

Job Summary:
The Development Director will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support Christ Gospel Ministries’ evangelism, church planting initiatives, and training programs. This includes building relationships with donors, organizing fundraising events, identifying grant opportunities, and leading capital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic plan to raise funds for evangelism, church planting, and training initiatives.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, foundations, and other funding sources.
• Coordinate fundraising events, including dinners, online campaigns, and donor meetings.
• Research and apply for relevant grants and funding opportunities.
• Manage donor relationships and ensure regular communication to keep supporters informed about ministry developments.
• Track and report on fundraising progress and donor contributions.
• Work closely with the leadership team to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
• Represent the organization at events and in meetings with potential partners and supporters.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of donor cultivation and stewardship practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage donors, volunteers, and partners.
• Experience in grant writing and securing funding from foundations.
• Ability to organize and manage fundraising events and campaigns.
• Passion for Christ Gospel Ministries’ mission and a commitment to the advancement of evangelism and church planting.
• Bachelor\\\’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, Business, or a related field (preferred).
