Solo Pastor
Other Details
The new pastor will serve as a dynamic leader, guiding and mentoring both staff and congregation on a path that glorifies God. Their leadership will be instrumental in achieving our short-term objectives, while also laying the foundation for long-term growth and impact in our community.
The person called to ministry will be responsible for a range of areas, including leading worship, organizing special events, and conducting monthly chapel sessions for the preschool program. They will engage children during worship with brief messages tailored to their understanding. Additionally, they will provide premarital counseling, officiate weddings and funerals, providing comfort and support to families in times of joy and sorrow.
As a leader, they will serve as the moderator of the session and offer guidance to committees on church polity. They will also mentor and be a resource to these committees, ensuring their effectiveness in conducting the church’s mission. In their role as head of staff, they will provide leadership to the staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
The pastor should actively engage with the congregation, visiting those who are sick or unable to attend worship, as well as reaching out to members of the community in need. We want a pastor who will lead periodic bible studies to foster our spiritual growth. Involvement with youth and support of mission trips will also be important aspects of their ministry.
