New Mercy Community Church is looking to hire a full-time lead pastor to join our team of pastors.

New Mercy’s vision is to be A Church for the Broken – Called to Restoration. We are a church made of broken people, a church that seeks to grow broken people, and a church that welcomes and serves other broken people with the radical love of Jesus Christ.

As a community, we are not called to remain in our brokenness; Jesus calls us to restoration. We are a church community committed to seeking the restoration Jesus brings in our own lives, and in the lives of those around us. We hope to be restorative agents who see the power of the redemptive gospel impact the local and global community around us.

Position Description/Responsibilities

The full-time pastor will join a staff of full-time and part-time pastors. Though this pastor will be a part of the round table leadership model, this pastor must be able to fulfill the duties of a traditional senior pastor, such as:

• Pastoral care.

• Discipleship.

• Preach on a regular rotation.

• Leadership training.

• Participate and lead various ministry team meetings.

• Vision casting.

• Administration.

• Participate in weekly staff meetings.

• Attend and coordinate church retreats.

• Participate in local and global missions.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ Years of Experience in Full Time Ministry.

• Reformed theology.

• Open to spiritual gifts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Masters in Divinity.

• Egalitarian.
