Other Details

The Associate Pastor will serve in this capacity for 2-3 years (depending on the hire date) and then transition to the role of Senior Pastor.  During this initial transition period, the Associate Pastor will:

• Develop and sustain a ministry to young parents.
• Share preaching duties with the Senior Pastor on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Be involved in one or more of the teaching ministries of the church.
• Engage in a visitation ministry, endeavoring to visit each family unit of the church.
• Help to develop an evangelistic outreach program to the community.
• Assist the Senior Pastor with communion, marriage ceremonies, funerals, etc.
• The Associate Pastor is responsible directly to the Senior Pastor and Elder Board.
