Faith Bible Church Introduction

        Faith Bible Church (FBC) is a small but growing New England church located in the town of Plainville, Connecticut, bordered by the cities of New Britain, Southington, Bristol and Farmington.  Best described as a Reformed, Evangelical church, FBC teaches the Bible as the infallible Word of God.  A member of the New Life Advent Christian Conference, FBC also preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ and His soon return.

        The ministry focus at FBC concentrates on four areas of ministry: 

• Evangelize and disciple new believers in Christ.
• Edification and perseverance of the saints through the preaching and teaching of the Bible.
• Equip families to disciple and train children, creating a family driven faith.
• Support local and world wide missions outreach to bring the gospel to all nations.

        Averaging a worship attendance of 50-60 people of all ages, the church meets regularly for Sunday morning worship, weekly Bible studies, and monthly fellowship gatherings.  The church operates under a congregational government led by a church board, headed by elders. The goal of FBC is to love and serve one another as we love and serve Christ for the good of believers and for the glory of God in the Power of the enabling work of the Holy Spirit.

Pastoral work, visitation, counseling, funerals, weddings, evangelism, and outreach, and especially Preaching with a strong support of the holy Scriptures.
Hopefully this is a full-time position; however, by vocational pastors, can also be accepted.
