The First Congregational Church, (FCC) NACCC in Pittsfield NH is transitioning to a new season, seeking an Interim pastor to guide and support our congregation with compassionate leadership and spiritual care. This person may be considered for the full time settled pastor position if we discern a mutual Call from God and each other. We are also looking more widely than the NACCC.  Our position will be open as of September 1, 2025, when our beloved pastor of 17 years retires to Florida.

FCC Pittsfield is located in the foothills of the White Mountains and New Hampshire’s scenic Lakes Region. We are very close to Concord, the state capital and within driving distance to the ocean.  Our area is relatively rural making it ideal for hiking, skiing and enjoying every season. We have a deeply faithful, regional and committed congregation who cares well for each another and our community. We are seeking a pastor who loves Christ and his Church, believes in and preaches the historic faith of the Ecumenical Church, is energetic, and relates easily to all ages. We cherish our worship traditions while recognizing our need to explore new ways of being and doing church. We possess significant resources and have a large, well-maintained facility. Recently, we revised and streamlined our governance and operating structure which is functioning very well.

We have a parsonage available for use by the Interim and/or by the settled pastor. Alternatively, a housing allowance could be offered if desired by the new settled pastor after we sell the parsonage. Our negotiable compensation package for a full-time interim and or settled pastor is competitive.
