Scriptura exists to help others see God, for themselves, in the biblical text. Our current project, Psalms: Layer by Layer, produces world-class exegetical resources to assist Bible translators. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who desires to be a part of making a difference in biblical scholarship and global Bible translation.

Job Description
This is a part-time, remote role for an Administrative Assistant. Hours are mostly flexible with 2 weekly scheduled meetings. You may be asked to attend video calls with some donors.

Roles

  • Task Management: Keep the Director of Donor Relationships organized and on track by managing tasks in ClickUp. Ensure timely updates, reminders, and follow-ups to prevent any oversights. Donor Relationship Management (DRM) platform should always reflect the latest information and activities.
  • Donor Support: Our donors are participants in our mission and your role will be to keep them informed and their priorities communicated. Respond to donor communication in a timely, respectful, and friendly manner.
  • Leadership Team, Development Team, and Board Secretary: Serve as the scribe during L10 meetings for the Leadership and Development teams. Listen attentively, capture discussions, and document solutions using the IDS (Identify, Discuss, Solve) framework. Create to-do’s based on decisions, communicate headlines throughout the organization, and manage the Issues List. You will also serve as Secretary of Scriptura’s Board of Directors.
  • Marketing Material Proofreading: Review all marketing materials meticulously to ensure they adhere to the highest standards of quality and effectively reflect our brand identity as an academic resource provider. Attention to detail and a keen eye for flawless grammar, spelling, and punctuation are essential.
  • Event Planning and Travel: Take charge of event planning activities, including booking travel arrangements, coordinating meetings, and organizing our annual retreat. Your exceptional organizational skills will be pivotal in ensuring seamless event execution.
