Covenant Community Church is an Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Northern California with 120 members. We are seeking an Assistant Pastor for Next Generations to provide spiritual, administrative and pastoral leadership for the next generations (infancy through young adults) while also serving more broadly as an assistant pastor to our congregation and community. This is a great opportunity to serve in a collaborative environment with a lead pastor who enjoys mentoring ministry partners.

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Foster Christian formation and discipleship of all age groups of the next generation.
• Plan, oversee and lead programs and events for the next generations in our church and community, building teams to serve them well.
• Provide pastoral care to the next generation and their parents.
• Champion the next generation across the church.
• Preach, administer sacraments and perform other pastoral duties.

We are looking for someone with ministry experience with one or more of the age groups in the next generation, and who has a seminary degree – or is working towards one. Our goal is for you to become ordained in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church if you are not already. Students in their last year of seminary are encouraged to apply.
