Assistant Pastor for Student Ministries (Part Time)

Primary Purpose: Partner with Campus Pastor to steward the overall vision for Reynolda’s Clemmons Campus and implement Reynolda’s ministry to students (6th –12th grade) at Clemmons.

• Disciple of Jesus, reflecting His humility and servanthood.
• Relationship builder, eager to make a difference with students.
• Team player, effective in recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers.
• Hard worker, taking initiative and ownership of Reynolda’s vision for
students.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assistant Pastor
• Share leadership of strategic projects with Campus Pastor.
• Support the health and effectiveness of Clemmons Campus programming.
• Provide programmatic support and congregational leadership on Sunday
mornings.
• Help Campus Pastor lead Men’s Ministry at Clemmons.
• Clemmons Leadership Team meetings (Wednesdays at 10am)

Student Ministries
• Small Group Discipleship
o Sunday morning middle school
o Sunday evening high school
• Big Fun Nights
o Currently 1st Wednesday (Clemmons), 3rd Wednesday (Village)
o 2nd and 4th weeks in volunteer family’s home
• Lead and minister through Clemmons Student Ministry Volunteer Team
• All Campus Student Ministry Staff Team meetings

Secondary Responsibilities:
• Connect with church body to release volunteers into ministry.
• Engage people in their 20’s at Reynolda Clemmons.
• Build relational bridges with YMCA staff, volunteers, and students.
• Partner with Campus Pastor to provide congregational care.

Reporting Structure:
• Directly report to Campus Pastor at Reynolda Clemmons.
• Lead with deference to Reynolda Student Ministries Coach.
