Church Overview
Twelfth Avenue Baptist Church is located in Emporia, Kansas, on the edge of the celebrated Flint Hills, known for its unique beauty and down-to-earth people. The church has strong ties with Emporia State University students and a strong emphasis on international missions. We seek to become a biblical community of Kingdom people who are joining God in the restoration of all things back to God one person, one place at a time. The church has a strong missional emphasis and is committed to the development of deep, devout disciples within the congregation. While Twelfth Avenue Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, it is a church with many different backgrounds and has a non-denominational church feel.
