The Associate Pastor will help Community Church fulfill Christ’s vision and mission by modeling faithfulness to the duties of this position while striving to lead an exemplary life. This is a full-time position for an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament. The Associate Pastor will work alongside the Lead Pastor, church staff and church leaders to encourage the growth of the congregation, helping the congregation know Christ, grow in Christ together, and go with Christ’s love into our community and world.

Our hope and prayer is that our next Associate Pastor will be gifted in teaching, preaching, bridge building, humility, grace, and servant leadership. A good sense of humor, some musical ability, and a commitment to pursue creative approaches to ministry would benefit this individual and our congregation greatly. We are also experiencing growth in our local Hispanic community, so a working knowledge of Spanish, or a willingness to learn Spanish would be beneficial.
