About the Associate Pastor

Assist the multicultural congregation of Bethel Bible Church (Hope Campus) in growing communities, building leaders, and living generously by providing leadership and care to team leaders and supervising the direction and operations of the children’s, youth, and life group ministries.

The Associate Pastor responsibilities include:

Children’s Ministry

  • Support team leaders in fulfilling their responsibilities and expectations (including administrative support).
  • Oversee the biblical education for children.
  • Facilitate the promotion of biblical community for children.
  • Create and lead in new ministry opportunities to children and parents

Youth Ministry

  • Support team leaders in fulfilling their responsibilities and expectations (including administrative support).
  • Oversee the biblical education for youth.
  • Facilitate the promotion of biblical community for youth.
  • Create and lead in new ministry opportunities.

Life Group Ministry

  • Support Life Group Leaders in fulfilling their responsibilities and expectations (including administrative support).
  • Implement training of new Life Group Leaders.

Preaching & Teaching

  • Provide pulpit support when needed.

Other Opportunities

  • Support and assist Campus Pastor and Team Leaders in various ministry opportunities such as: Discover Bethel, Baptisms, Community Outreach, etc.

What you bring

The following describes many of the characteristics of the ideal candidate for the Associate Pastor:

Education and experience

  • 2-5 years ministry experience.
  • Completed or working towards an accredited seminary degree.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Experienced in the discipleship of others.
  • Knowledge and willingness to facilitate multicultural experiences.

Personal characteristics and qualifications

  • They must believe they have been called by God to lead in the local church.
  • Active and growing relationship with Christ.
