The Big Picture
First Indian Baptist Church Taos (https://www.fibctaos.org) is a small rural Native American church in Taos, NM seeking a bi-vocational Southern Baptist minister.
The Qualifications
He will meet the qualifications for overseer as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4. He will provide kingdom leadership to the members of the church enabling them to focus on the Great Commission, and equipping them to carry out the five functions of the New Testament church: evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and worship. He will have experienced God’s clear call, will have been ordained into the Gospel ministry, and will be suitably trained to serve capably. He will subscribe to the Divine origin of the Scriptures and endorse the other elements of the Southern Baptist faith as outlined in the “Baptist Faith and Message” 2000 edition. Looking for Someone with a passion to reach the younger generation.
The Compensation
$20,000 plus Parsonage (negotiable based upon experience)
