The Creek Church Worship, Meet The Creek Church:

The Creek Church was founded in 1861 as Hawk Creek Baptist Church. For 144 years the church existed as a small community church, serving those living in and near the Hawk Creek area of Laurel County, Kentucky. 45 people were attending weekly in 2005 when God began a new work through our Lead Pastor. Today, over 1,500 people attend our four campuses weekly and over 2,000 people have been baptized since 2005.

The church operates under the visionary leadership of Lead Pastor Trevor Barton, a gifted leader and communicator with a passion for reaching those marginalized and discouraged by religion. Under his leadership, The Creek has grown from a small community fellowship to an outwardly focused ministry that God is using to change lives.

Influenced by Life Church, and North Point, The Creek is poised for more growth, as they fervently seek to develop a highly evangelistic community of believers who strive to invite others into the Kingdom of God.

Love God. Love People. Make Disciples.

To be a church that people who don’t like church love to attend.
