The Children’s Pastor wins when…

• Parents are confident in the safety, spiritual growth, and acceptance their kids experience while in our care.

• Team-player, humble, and emotionally intelligent.

• Strong communication skills with children and adults in various contexts.
• Confident in recruiting, leading, and empowering healthy teams.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversees all aspects of programming and events for birth through 4th grade, including weekend classes, Midweek program, VBS, and special events.
• Selects, modifies, and implements curricula for all children’s ministry environments.
• Recruits, trains, leads, and encourages a team of volunteers & support staff.
• Assimilates new children and families into the life of TerraNova (including communication, follow-up, and meet-ups).
• Helps equip parents to be the primary spiritual leaders of their children.
• Collaborates with the rest of the TerraNova staff team to carry out the mission and vision of the church.
