MinistryHub is honored to partner with Asbury Church in their search for a Director of Worship and Media.

Main Goal:

To provide spiritual leadership for the Worship & Media ministry at Asbury Church.

Qualifications:

• Passion for Christ.
• Supportive of Asbury’s mission, vision and direction.
• Creative and ambitious.
• Teachable and humble.
• Excellent communication and relational skills.
• Skilled at leading vocally and proficient on either guitar or keys.

Musical Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and direct engaging, contemporary worship experiences (Bethel, Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, etc.).
• Proficient both vocally and on either guitar or keys.
• Recruit, shepherd and develop additional volunteers to build a strong team of musicians.
• Lead a weekly rehearsal in preparation for Sunday worship.
• Coordinate with the lead pastor to plan a service where music and sermon themes align.

Media Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable with worship technology.
  • While this person doesn’t have to lead it all, they should have a working knowledge and be capable of “learning and leading” these areas (Pro Presenter, Livestreaming, Waves Live Emotion/LV1 mixer software).
• Recruit, shepherd and develop additional volunteers to build a strong AV/camera/media team.
• Provide training on audio/visual/lighting to media team members as needed.
• Enhance and update the website with upcoming events and information.

Other Responsibilities:

• Attend weekly staff meetings.
• Participate with staff on various outreach and community service projects.
