Title: Family Life Minister/Early Childhood Director

Overview: To support the vision of GFCC through leading our Family Ministry team and Early Childhood Ministry

Reporting Relationship: Executive Pastor

Responsibilities:

• Oversees, develops and guides birth-PreK ministries at GFCC.
• Oversees volunteer recruitment, training and scheduling for early childhood ministry on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
• Oversees monthly editing of Pre-K curriculum.
• Oversees materials preparation and oversight of resource room for Pre-K ministries weekly.
• Supports family ministry events on as-needed.
• Oversees database updating and data entry for family ministry team.
• VBS leadership team member, overseeing preschool VBS program.
• Casts vision to church at large for Family Ministry team.
• Oversees Family Ministry strategy and team members in supervisory role.
• Oversees MOMS group leadership team.
• Family Ministry representative to the Executive Team for FCC.
• Oversee and guide our parental discipleship program.

Requirements:

• Meet with Executive Pastor biweekly and with other Family Ministry team members weekly, or as needed.
• Exemplify humility, teachability, respectfulness and adaptability as you lead, love and serve others.
• Be an immersed follower of Christ and committed to practice the same conversion process.
• Display an energetic and positive personality.
• Must be in agreement with the mission and policies of FCC Kidz and GFCC at large.
• Must have a servant’s heart and be willing to serve in whatever ways benefit the team in your specific job description.

Training provided to you:

1. Personal development fund.
2. Annual performance review.
