Springfield Mennonite Church is a multi-generational, evangelical church of believers located in a beautiful area of rural upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Springfield has a rich history, dating back to 1751, and is a member of the Alliance of Mennonite Evangelical Congregations (AMEC). We are seeking a full time solo pastor to lead our congregation of about 70 members.

Requirements 

• Degree in Bible or theology.
• Seminary is not necessary but encouraged.
• Agree with AMEC statement of faith.
• Male.
• Meet the New Testament requirements as listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
• Born again believer.
• Called to pastoral ministry.
• Communication, leadership, and organization skills.
• Servant’s heart.
• Desire to lead individuals to faith and disciple them to lead lives honoring God.

Responsibilities

• Preach and teach the Bible.
• Provide vision.
• Work with Spiritual Council.
• Pray faithfully for the congregation.
• Connect with the congregation (visitations, conversations, etc.).
• Disciple and encourage deeper relationships with Christ.
• Plan weekly worship services.
• Work to build healthy families.
