Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Pastor. As a Pastor, you will play a vital role in leading and guiding our congregation, providing spiritual guidance, and fostering a strong sense of community. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others and contribute to the growth of our church.

Duties:

•  Conduct religious services, including preaching sermons and delivering inspirational messages.
•  Provide pastoral care and counseling to individuals and families in need.
•  Perform baptisms, weddings, funerals, and other religious ceremonies.
•  Lead and facilitate Bible study groups and prayer meetings.
•  Mentor and guide individuals in their spiritual journey.
•  Write and deliver engaging and relevant sermons that connect with the congregation.
•  Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to plan and organize events and programs.
•  Serve as a leader within the church community, providing guidance and support to fellow staff members.

Skills:

• MDv and Reformed Theology.
• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to deliver engaging sermons.
• Proficient in Christian counseling techniques to provide guidance and support to individuals in need.
• Crisis management skills to handle difficult situations with compassion and empathy.
• Conflict management skills to address conflicts within the congregation effectively.
• Ability to educate and teach biblical principles in an accessible manner.
• Crisis intervention skills to provide support during times of crisis or loss.
• Hospice care knowledge to offer comfort and support to individuals nearing end-of-life.
• Strong writing skills for sermon preparation and other written communications.
