Full or Part-Time Therapist
Associates in Christian Counseling is currently looking for a full or part-time therapist to work with a wide range of clients including children and couples. Associates is a faith-based organization whose mission is to provide professional mental health services to all who seek them regardless of race, creed, or financial status. We are a credentialed, professional staff offering a unique approach that is tailored to the needs of the individual client. This can include psychological concepts, Biblical precepts and a variety of mental health techniques and services. We meet each client at their point of need. Because of our non-profit status, we are able to maintain a Client Assistance Fund for those with financial concerns.
Therapist Job Responsibilities:
- Establish positive, trusting rapport with clients.
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
- Create individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances.
- Meet with clients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of client progress.
- Refer clients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality.
- Provide individual and/or marital and family therapy.
- Participate in monthly staff meetings.
- Provide on-call crisis intervention coverage on a rotating basis with other clinicians.
- Document sessions in practice software from meetings with clients following approved format.
- Provide in-service training to other staff as appropriate, and in conjunction with training services under the direction of the clinical supervisor.
- Uphold all HIPAA laws and regulations.
- Participate in at least three outreach presentations per year in the community.

- Team player with other staff and clinicians
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Current with all state licensing requirements.
- Two years’ clinical experience.
