First Baptist Church of Bowling Green, Kentucky is seeking resumes for the full-time position of Minister of Music to serve our growing congregation in the heart of Southcentral Kentucky. This position is primarily responsible to plan, implement, evaluate, and oversee all Music Ministries of First Baptist Church.

Qualified candidates will exhibit evidence of a mature and growing faith in Jesus Christ and a life of personal integrity, a commitment to helping build strong and healthy Christ-followers according to the principles of faith set forth in the Holy Bible, and a desire to help people learn what it means to follow Christ in all areas of life.

Qualified candidates will likewise exhibit strong musicianship and conducting skills along with proficiency, experience, and excellence in providing comprehensive leadership to a music ministry including worship service design and choir, orchestra, hand bell, ensemble, praise team, youth choir, and children’s choir leadership. A master’s degree from an accredited theological seminary is preferred. Proven strengths in leadership, administration, pastoral care, and volunteer recruitment, equipping, and management are essential.
