Ministry Leader for Middle School: As an extension of the Family Ministry at PCPC, the Ministry Leader for Middle School position exists to equip Middle School students to know God’s Word, to help students nurture an abiding personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to support students as they learn how to extend the love of Christ to family, friends, and others. This is accomplished through prayer and weekly Sunday School classes, small groups, and monthly events, as well as through contact work with students in the community and at school events.

Key job responsibilities include planning weekly small groups and Sunday school lessons, writing Bible Study curriculum, and creating semester teaching series. Must purposefully connect with students and parents of different backgrounds, plan and/or execute monthly and yearly events, lead and develop Middle School Residents, and create a volunteer culture by connecting and developing volunteers.

Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master’s Degree is not required but is preferred. Requires three to five years of Middle School experience, or three years in a ministry background. Must affirm and uphold the Bible and its teachings, as well as Presbyterian theology and the Westminster Confession. Must possess an abiding faith in the Lord and be committed to serving God. Must possess strong coaching and teaching skills. Must be able to easily connect with people from various backgrounds, ages, and walks of faith.

This is a regular full-time (40 hours a week) exempt position (not eligible for overtime).
