Longstanding Christian ministry looking to hire in-country director for to help lead next chapter in our organization’s 30+ year ministry in Haiti.  This is a unique and interesting position that requires strong administrative, management, interpersonal, and communication skills.  This is a full-time field position in Cap Haitien, Haiti\’s second largest city and its center of travel and tourism.  Our core focus presently is in-residence child development and childhood education, but we see this position as being critical to the addition of a robust focus on economic development and mentoring through local micro-finance and through partnerships with foreign companies who would supply digitally based work to a team based in our community in Haiti.  A healthy sense of adventure and travel is a plus and an ability to live flexibly in a dynamic landscape.  Prior field experience working in emerging and developing nations is not mandatory but is a big advantage.  Successful experience with fundraising is also very helpful or having an existing supporter network because of the missionary aspect of this position.
