Worship Leader/Associate Pastor of Music and Worship

The primary responsibilities will be to plan, coordinate, and lead weekly worship. We are looking for a committed evangelical Christian who has a genuine heart for people, is organized, and a conscientious self-starter.

This position is part-time, 10-15 hours/week. Salary $20,000 (There is an opportunity to expand the position if the right candidate has a passion for youth ministry or discipleship.)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and prepare worship in conjunction with the Pastor/sermon topic.
• Proactively find new and old music.
• Seek to develop the quality of the worship team and service.
• Oversee relevant teams (sound, projection).

Qualifications

• A four-year college degree, working towards a four-year degree, or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of leading worship in a local congregation.
• Have a passion for sharing Jesus Christ through music and ability to lead worship teams and special musical events.
• Have a clear testimony of your commitment to Jesus Christ and be growing in your faith.
