Marsh Corner Community Church (www.marshcorner.com), located 30 minutes north of Boston, Massachusetts, is seeking God’s direction and asking for His provision of a “Next Generation” pastor.  If you have a vision for connecting all generations to Jesus and a heart for pastoring New Englanders, please read on to prayerfully consider if God may be calling you to join our church family.

Full Time Position Summary:

The Next Generation Pastor is a spiritual overseer of children, youth, and young adult ministries, connecting them to Jesus while incorporating these generations into the wholeness of our local body of believers. The Next Generation Pastor is accountable to the Lead Pastor and the Elders.

Job Requirements:

• An Unequivocal testimony of salvation thru the work and grace of Jesus Christ evidenced by the fruit of the Holy Spirit manifested in your life.
• Prior church experience (staff, internship, or volunteer) working with children, youth, or young adults that impacted your life and call.
• A demonstrated ability to teach and communicate intergenerationally.
• A spirit of enthusiasm, mixed with a fun-loving sense of adventure with love for students and children.
• A concern for holiness in living and circumspectness necessary for pastoral ministry

• Demonstrated love for the local church through Christian service.
• Strong organization / administrative skills
• Innovative Leadership skills to build and mobilize a volunteer team to make things happen.
• Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies or related filed. A graduate degree from Seminary or Theological school is a plus.
• Heart for the spiritual development of the next generation.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Primary goal is to make disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus.
• Establish the mission, Spiritual direction, vision, goals and plans for the Next Generation ministries.
• Incorporate Nex-Gen ministries into the mission and vision of our local church.
• Training and Equipping volunteer leaders and students.
• Inspire youth & young adults to have deep & lasting relationships with God.
• Embracing the joy of serving the Lord as those matters arise.
• Able to preach occasionally.
