The Big Picture

The Presbyterian Church of Marion (pcmarion.org) is seeking a Pastor with a strong bible-based faith, who will challenge our congregation to deepen our faith and shine a light into our community.  They will serve as the pastor, staff leader, and moderator of session.

The Pastor’s Responsibilities

• Our Pastor will assume the responsibility for our worship services, providing scripture based sermons.
• Provide pastoral counseling.
• Assist the Deacons with hospital, nursing home and shut-in visitation.
• Participate in our community ecumenical youth programs and provide support and guidance for our Christian education.
• Support all standing committees in church-related business matters.
• Help us grow our congregation and to serve our community.
