Cheshire Baptist Church

Cheshire Baptist Church is currently searching for the man God has prepared to be our next pastor. The church is in beautiful Berkshire County in a small town full of charm and history.  The town of Cheshire and its neighboring town of Adams is our Jerusalem to reach with the gospel. The right pastor will help us with evangelism training, building vision and opportunities for outreach.  This position is not currently fully funded; however, CBC is willing to work with the man God chooses to ensure they have time to take care of their family.

His Accountability

• Preaching God’s Word, Biblical Inerrancy and Truth.
• Worship Leadership.
• Administration of Ordinances.
• Officiate at Weddings and Funerals.
• Development of Missionary Vision (supporting and sending).
• Equipping the Saints.
• Teaching (membership classes, bible study).
• Leadership training for members.
• Evangelistic training.
• Discipleship training (followers of Jesus make disciples).
• Premarital counseling for church members.
• Congregational care training (learn how to care for one another).

Oversee Leadership Team

• Vision Discernment (long and short range planning).
• Supervision and Staff Development.
• Create Environment for Healthy Relationships.
• Provide Office Administration alongside Volunteers.

Maintain Healthy Personal Growth and Recreation

• Appropriate time for personal reading, meditation and research.
• Take one month of vacation annually.
• Have two days off per week.
