We are a well-established independent Baptist congregation in rural northwest Rhode Island, adjacent to Massachusetts and Connecticut. The church facilities include a sanctuary, fellowship hall, Christian school and parsonage. Church beliefs include the inerrancy of scripture, holy lifestyle of the believer and active participation in church fellowship. The church has a congregational form of government administered by a Board of Deacons, elected at the annual church business meeting.
Pastoral duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversight of spiritual duties of the church body as listed in scripture.
- Provide visionary leadership to facilitate church growth.
- Preaching/teaching at Sunday services.
- Administering the church ordinances of communion and baptism.
- Visitation to regular church members as necessary.
- Counsel and discipline of church members.
- General oversight of all church activities, including the Christian school (K-8).

Requirements:
- Belief in a born-again experience (John 3:3-8), inerrancy of scripture and the requirements of an elder (1 Timothy 3:1-7).
- Agreement with the church’s Statement of Faith, Church Covenant and Constitutional By-Laws. (Note – the by-laws describe the form of church government).
- An earned degree in biblical studies, theology or Christian ministry from a recognized accredited school.
- Ordination with experience in ministry.
- Willingness to relocate.
