Third Baptist Church in Strafford New Hampshire is seeking a candidate that God is
calling to fill the position of Pastor. The Church has been serving the Baptist faith for over 150 years and has approximately 50 active members and visitors.

Strafford is a small rural community with the Church being centrally located. The town
has a K-8 elementary school. High school students living in Strafford a end Coe-Brown
Northwood Academy. The Church is situated on a hill with a detached Christian education building with classrooms, offices, meeting rooms, a kitchen, a food pantry, and a dining area. This building is instrumental in our outreach efforts such as the weekly community supper and our USDA Food Pantry. Across the road from the church is a parsonage available for housing the Pastor and their family.

We are a theologically conservative Church body who believe the Bible is the actual
Word of God and is to be taken literally and we are looking for a pastor who shares those same values. Our pastor will make themselves available to the congregation when they are in need whether in sickness, crisis, or encouragement. The church has several young families and the pastor must be effective working with the youth. We believe music is an important part of worship and would like to see the new pastor share that passion. The pastoral candidate should be compassionate and caring and maintain confidentiality.

We are looking for a Pastor who has had at least some seminary studies and continues
to develop their theological and biblical skills. Candidates already ordained are preferred. If you are not ordained, we will work with you toward that goal.
